Sister Shauna Lynn

I went to my daddy, and I was hoping he could help me. What did that mean in the Bible?   Well, every time he would tell me go to mama. He could not read very well, and I just thought that I would be bull headed and not tell mama.

We had “Old year Out and New year In” singing, and I didn’t go down to the alter.  That night, I had a dream that across the street there was bright sunlight in the background, and it was dust on the ground. This man was coming toward me, and getting closer and closer. Then, I was looking from the living room.  It was Jesus, He had a nail in His hand, and the blood was running down from His hand.

Then that Sunday morning, I thought to myself  “I am going to get saved today”. Well, when it was time to go around for the handshake, I walked past the alter. Then I went to mama and daddy, and they were crying. When I came to mama, I told her I was lost.  She said “do you want to go to the alter”, and I said “yes”. So she went with me, and I got to the point that I didn’t care who was there with me. I had to give up everything and everyone to let the Lord save me. No one told me I was saved.  I knew I was, because the Lord told me I was. Because I had that hurt washed away. If you don’t have “I know where I am headed” salvation, it is time for you to get down on your knees and pray and ask the Lord to come in!
